Privacy Policy

Littman Drug Corporation ("Littman", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, how we protect it and the rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

What we collect and why

• Inquiries and contact messages: your name, organization, email, phone and message, so we can respond. Kept for up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Product information requests: the same details plus your profession, so we can send the right information. Kept for up to 2 years.
• Job applications: your CV, contact details and application, for recruitment. Kept for up to 12 months.
• Side-effect reports: reporter contact details, patient initials, age range, sex and health information, to meet our pharmacovigilance obligations. Kept as long as the law requires.
• Website security: a one-way hash of your IP address and basic browser data, to protect our forms from abuse. Kept for up to 90 days.

Sensitive personal information

Health information in side-effect reports is sensitive personal information under RA 10173. It is encrypted, accessed only by authorized drug-safety staff, and shared only with the Food and Drug Administration Philippines and the product's manufacturer as required by law.

How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and send email, under agreements that require them to protect it; with regulators when the law requires; and with product manufacturers for safety reporting.

Automated processing

We use AI tools to help our staff categorize and summarize messages and applications. A person always reviews and decides. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you is made solely by automated means.

How we protect it

Personal data is encrypted at rest, staff access is limited by role and protected by two-factor authentication, and access to sensitive records is logged.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to rectification, to data portability, to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission, and to damages. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them only as listed below. The cookie notice lets you accept or reject the optional ones, and you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Strictly necessary (always on, because the website cannot work securely without them):

• littman-consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. Kept for 6 months.
• .AspNetCore.Antiforgery: protects our forms against forged submissions. Deleted when you close your browser.
• __Host-littman-auth and related sign-in cookies: keep authorized Littman staff signed in to the site administration. Not set for other visitors.

Optional (only if you accept):

• littman-theme: remembers your light or dark theme choice. Kept for 12 months.
• YouTube: videos in Health Hub articles are played from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube may set its own cookies when a video loads. Until you accept, each video is replaced by a notice and loads only if you choose to play it.

If you reject optional cookies, the website works fully; your theme choice simply lasts until you leave the page. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
